| | Today, on Michael's lunch break, we picked up our new cat from the Humane Society. She is a very pretty, 2 1/2 year old calico, who came with the name Friskers, but we have now changed it to Beatrice. She will take a little while to adjust since she has been living in a room with 6 or more other cats for at least the last 4 months. She has spent a lot of time behind the couch but she loves people too much to stay by herself, so she comes out occasionally to be petted by Michael (who started working from home 3 days a week) and I. I'm so excited about having a cat in my house!
